Starting on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, the Brighton Police will introduce a new tool for the community to provide feedback to our department. This new tool, called CueHit, will allow us access to citizen feedback in near real-time and provide insights into areas where we can improve the service we provide to the community.
How it Works - Our officers will be providing a business card and/or a victim’s rights card outfitted with a QR code to those with whom we interact after a 911 call or certain types of other interactions. The citizen can then scan the QR code with a smartphone camera and they will be directed to a short survey asking a few questions about how satisfied they are.
It is important for our department to hear from the community about how we are doing, especially from those we have recently met. Your feedback is important to us and we want to know how we are doing. We also want to be able to provide positive feedback to officers, and to know if something can be improved.
This tool can't be used to report any type of emergency or criminal activity, or to make a formal complaint with the department.
If you want more information on this new initiative, please contact Chief David Catholdi directly, at (585) 784-5101.
