Please see a very important message regarding Town of Brighton Recreation Programs.
With new CDC and NYS DOH COVID-19 guidance being released we wanted to make you aware of some changes to Town Recreation Department policies and operations. Please know that we will continue to refine these measures, based on expert guidance from sources like the Centers for Disease Control, State Department of Health and Monroe County Department of Public Health.
Effective Saturday, March 5, 2022, program participants, employees and visitors are no longer required to wear a mask or face covering while inside Town facilities including the Brookside Recreation Center. As masks remain a critical tool to fight the spread of COVID-19, we strongly encourage program participants, employees and visitors to continue to mask.
The Town of Brighton and the Recreation Department will continue to follow the New York State Department of Health guidance for exposure, isolation and quarantine.
We continue to ask participants and staff to monitor themselves for illness and stay home if they are not feeling well. Our top priority is making sure we keep the Brighton community and our employees safe, open and moving forward.
We appreciate everyone who has stuck with us through the ups and downs of Covid19, and we look forward to continuing our return to more normal operations!
