Happy Friday from Brighton Recreation!

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 am on Sunday, November 3rd.  As we "fall back" it's a reminder to change your
smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector batteries and test that they are functioning properly.
As we look to November, new classes and sessions are starting at Brighton Rec - take a look below to see what's coming! See you soon at Brighton Rec!

Brighton Symphony Orchestra
Fall Concert

Brighton Symphony Orchestra invites you to attend its Fall 2024 concert on

Wednesday, November 6 at 7:30 pm
at
Temple B'rith Kodesh Wolk Family Center Auditorium
2131 Elmwood Avenue

The Fall Concert will feature Reign of the Septins by Jeremy Soule, Swedish Rhapsody No. 1 by Hugo Alfven, and close with Rustic Wedding Symphony by Carl Goldmark.

Admission is free, donations gratefully accepted!

School Break Programs

100 Things to do in Rochester before you're 12
Field Trip to Ellison Park!

Join Miss Michele and Miss Abby for the 2nd adventure of 100 things to do before you're 12! Participants will check 10 items off the list at Ellison Park, but how many more have you already done?!

Participants will be dropped off/picked up at Brighton Recreation. Transportation to Ellison Park will be in the Recreation van.

Bring your little one to take over the Brookside gym for an hour of engaging playtime filled with toddler-sized action!

Horseback Riding Lessons

Certified instructors teach how to ride and proper horsemanship skills. Lessons at Hillrise Equestrian Center.

Recess Rock Climbing is back! Don't forget - RocVentures offers single day camps during school breaks in addition to their monthly programs!

JV/Varsity Tennis

Led by Dyson Tennis Team, Futures Stars will cover technical aspects to develop good tennis habits. JV/Varsity class covers technical and competitive drills.

This 5 week program will introduce the basics in a welcoming and social setting.
